A point of view reflected in every product
Other skin care lines might talk about botanicals or other natural ingredients, but how many of their products actually contain them? If so, is there enough of the ingredient to positively affect your skin and what is the quality? These are critical questions for creating a line of skincare products that are effective and fulfill their promises.
As a student of Western disciplines and Eastern traditions, Layla knows exactly which botanicals are necessary for every creme, lotion or serum in her line, so that these products achieve the desired effect on the skin. She also makes sure that only the highest quality plant extracts are used and always in rich amounts. Just as important, the latest extraction techniques and state-of-the-art emulsions from well-known laboratories are used in each product. This ensures that fragile ingredients remain potent and interact with skin more effectively, to work more efficiently.
It all adds up to skin care with a unique aesthetic and clinical approach: the best of East and West joined together to deliver extraordinary performance.
“All my products contain plant-based extracts from renewable resources. We would never use ingredients that harm people or the environment.” Layla explains, “We add no synthetic fragrances, our packaging is recyclable, and we never test on animals. Our whole approach is holistic.”
She adds, “Many skin care brands in department stores use synthetic preservatives, some of which have been shown to be harmful. All our preservatives are natural, like jojoba which even gives some natural sun protection.”
